Robert D. Wroble, 87, Kentucky

Robert David Wroble, 87, of rural Harpers Ferry, Iowa, died on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, at Great River Care Center in McGregor, Iowa.

Visitation was held from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday at Point of View Bed and Breakfast in Harpers Ferry. Martin Funeral Home in Waukon, Iowa, was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Wroble was born on July 14, 1924, in Casper, Wyo., the son of James John and Sarah Jane Bennett Wroble. He married Myra Jeanette Flau on Feb. 13, 1946, in Kansas.

He is survived by his wife; and children, Stephanie and her husband Robert Meyer of Vandalia, Andrew Wroble and his wife Dainne of Harpers Ferry, and Jed Wroble of Libby, Mont.
