Geraldine L. Casey, 94, Bingham

Geraldine L. Casey, 94, of Bingham, died at 2:25 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, at Montgomery County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylor Springs.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Sutton Funeral Home in Nokomis, with the Rev. Scott Minnix officiating. Burial will be in Nokomis Cemetery in Nokomis. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials: American Diabetes Association, P.O. Mrs. Casey was born on Nov. 13, 1917, in Montgomery County, the daughter of Edward J. and Minnie Hildebradt Singler. She married Edwin Harold Casey on March 6, 1937, in Vandalia; he died on Dec. 16, 1995.

She was a retired homemaker and landowner.

She is survived by sons, Larry Casey and his wife Jane of Newton, Gerald Casey and his wife Laurna of Bingham, and Keith Casey and his wife Terry of Bingham; daughter, Sharon Veach of Willow Hill; sister-in-law, Thelma Singler of Nokomis; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons and one daughter, in infancy; brother, Ken Singler; and sister, Josephine Singler.
