Kenneth L. ‘Kenny’ Evans, 70, Vandalia

Kenneth L. “Kenny” Evans, 70, of Vandalia, died at 10:12 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at his home.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Hohlt & File Funeral Home in Vandalia, with the Rev. Doug Wodtka officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held one hour before services on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials: The family.

Mr. Evans was born on May 28, 1941, in St. Louis, Mo., the son of Royce and Madeline Causey Evans Blake.

He is survived by his mother; son, Kenneth Evans; and daughter, Bridget Evans.
