SWCD still offers electronic recycling
The Fayette County Soil & Water Conservation District is continuing to offer electronic recycling.
Recycling is available at the SWCD office, 301 S. Third St. in Vandalia, from 1-5 p.m. every Wednesday.
Those using the service may put items into boxes inside the recycling trailer. Larger items, such as televisions, can be placed in the open area of the trailer.

• Hard drives, floppy drives, tape drives, CD and DVD drives
• Fax machines

• IMACs, all colors

• Monitors-not accepted if tube is broken

No white goods – refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, hot water heaters – are accepted.
Glass is also not accepted.
Items with a disposal fee are identified. All other items are free.
