Stephen J. Stine, 61, Vandalia

Stephen J. Stine, 61, of Vandalia, died on Monday, Dec. 19, 2011, in rural Vandalia.

Services will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday at Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials: The family. Online condolences may be shared at www.millerfh.net.

Mr. Stine was born on May 9, 1950, in St. Elmo, the son of Ross Jay and Roselyn Fern Smith Stine. He married Belle B. Bauer on Feb. 14, 2008, in Vandalia.

He is survived by his parents; wife; sons, Andrew Stine and his wife Nancy of Wildwood, Mo., and Dustin Stine and his wife Cara of Sandoval; daughter, Michelle and her husband Scott Warner of Shobonier; and stepdaughter, Lovie Bauer of St. James.
