Godberson gets lone win as Vandal wrestlers place fifth at Civic Memorial
Senior Dayin Godberson was an individual champion, and the Vandalia wrestlers placed fifth, with 143 points, at the annual Civic Memorial Tournament on Saturday.
Mattoon won the team title, with 223 points.
Senior Levi Ulmer suffered a minor ankle injury in practice prior to the tournament, and he is expected to return to the mat for Thursday's home-opening dual meet against Hillsboro. That match begins at 6 p.m.
