Marian L. Richardson, 89, Kentucky

Marian L. Richardson, 89, of Shelbyville, Ky., and formerly of Ramsey and Owensboro, Ky., died on Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, at the Masonic Home in Shelbyville, Ky.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at Ramsey Cemetery in Ramsey, with the Rev. Kent Denton officiating. Friends and family may gather at the cemetery at 9:45 a.m. Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey was in charge of arrangements. Memorials: Franklin County Humane Society, 1041 Kentucky Ave., Frankfort, Ky. Mrs. Richardson was born on Feb. 22, 1922, in Ramsey, the daughter of Charles Lewis and Lovetta Glassner Denton. She married Rufus Omar Richardson on June 20, 1946, in Vandalia; he died on May 5, 1992.

She is survived by a son, Jon Richardson of Gilbert, Ariz.; and daughter, Linda Sholar and friend Tony of Frankfort, Ky.
