Quilt Winner

Becky Hartman is the winner of a quilt created and raffled off by the Spools of Fun Quilt Club of Vandalia.

Club members put together the quilt made from Thimbleberry fabric measuring 96 inches by 112 inches. The blocks were made by club members and set together by Janet Friesner, and binding was done by Gloria Hall. The pattern was Fredricksburg blocks. Alice Hamilton of Shiloh did the custom quilting. Hartman’s name was drawn at the club’s meeting on Oct. 18. Nancy McDowell sold the winning ticket. Shown, from left to right, are Friesner, Hartman, McDowell and Hall.
