October Classes at Vandalia KC Campus
October classes
There is no excuse for not having something to do in October. Kaskaskia College Vandalia Campus has a wide assortment of classes for all interests.
On Thursdays, Oct. 6, 13 and 20, a pencil drawing (COED 7003VA01E) class will be held with KC art instructor Tim Wight. The class will meet from 6-8 p.m. in the student commons area.
For those wanting to conquer the Internet and e-mail, there is an introduction to the Internet and e-mail (LLI 7025 VA01E) class. Kathy Smith will teach the class on Wednesdays from 5:15-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct 12 and 19.
Donna Ruble will teach two scrapbooking classes from 1-4 p.m., one (COED 5401 VA01W) on Saturday, Oct. 15, and another (COED 5401 VA02W) on Saturday, Oct. 22.
If you have ever taken computer college-part I class and have wanted to come back to refresh and learn more, now is the time.
Kathy Smith will be teaching computer college-part II (LLI7021 VA01E) on Thursday for five weeks, from Oct. 20-Nov. 17, from 1-4 p.m. These classes are taught with the needs of the participants in mind.
Wanting to clear out some clutter? What better way than to sell it on eBay.
A how to sell and buy on eBay class (LLI7040 VA01E) with Dean Black will be offered on three Wednesdays, from 6:30-9 p.m., on Oct. 26, Nov. 2 and Nov. 19. Students must have an e-mail account that they can use away from home, such as gmail. They should also bring a cell phone to set up eBay accounts.
Maybe you just got a computer and don’t know the first thing about it; we have just the class – computer understanding (LLI 7031 VA01W).
Kathy Smith will teach the class, to be held 8:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. on Saturdays, Oct. 29 and Nov. 5.
Seniors age 60 and over can participate with tuition waived for all classes at Kaskaskia College.
