Jimmy Lee ‘Jim’ Munter, 76, Pekin

Jimmy Lee “Jim” Munter, 76, of Pekin, and formerly of St. Elmo, died on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Green Valley, with the Revs. Thomas R. Wenndt and Kevin Bueltmann officiating. Burial was in Meadow Lawn Cemetery in Manito.

He is survived by his wife, Lottie; and children, Jodi and her husband Mike Newlinger and Son, Jerry Munter and his wife Sondra.
