ExxonMobil Annuitants (Sept. 1)
On August 25 the ExxonMobil Annuitants met for their monthly meeting and luncheon at the Ponderosa Steakhouse in Vandalia with 28 members and four guests.
Following the pledge to the flag, Brock Fisher gave the meal prayer.
President Dean Black opened the meeting with a welcome to all present. Secretary/treasurer reports was read and approved. Birthdays and anniversaries for August were read. Humorous readings were read by LaVerne Laux and Madelon Fisher.
Angie Hagen daughter of Brock and Madelon Fisher presented the club with a supply of get well cards that she had made with photos from her own flower garden on the front of each card. A big thank you was given to Angie for taking her time to make the beautiful cards for the club.
D.R. Caldwell volunteered to give a program in September on one of his hobbies. Next months meeting will be on September 29 at the same location. The meeting was adjourned.
