Denny’s Opens

The new Denny's Restaurant opened in Vandalia last Sunday evening.

Owner/manager Dave Behrends, shown above, said that the opening of the 24-hour restaurant went smoothly. The 3,500-square-foot restaurant seats 132 customers either in booths or at  the counter. It is located next to the Fast Stop Travel Center at the western I-70 interchange. Nationally, Denny's has more than 1,550 restaurants
