Reunions

Hopper
The annual Hopper family reunion will be held on Sunday, Sept. 4, at the North Loudon Townhouse, just north of Wright’s Corner, with a potluck dinner at noon.
Those attending are asked to take a covered dish to share. Drinks and tableware will be provided.

Garrison
The Garrison family reunion was held on Sunday, Aug. 14, at the St. Elmo City Park, with 35 present.
Everyone introduced themselves and told how they were related. Ervin Garrison gave the blessing before the noon meal.
A short business meeting was held and the treasurer’s report was given.
Next year's reunion will be held on the second Sunday, Aug. 12, at the park.
Marriages: Jeffrey Scott Garrison and Paige Maxine Miller, June 11, 2011; and Justin Elmore and Natasha Barker on July 9, 2011.
Births: Colton Anthony Harrington to Anyssa Vonderhide and Jake Harrington on June 3, 2011; Carter Joseph Boastick to Joseph and Christina Boastick, on June 18, 2011.
Deaths: Elwood Scoles on Sept. 28, 2010.
