Marian University
Joseph Maher, a resident of Vandalia and a Catholic studies major, was among 390 students who qualified for the Marian University dean’s list during the spring 2011 semester.
A student whose grade-point average is 3.5 or above, who was enrolled in at least 12 semester hours and has not earned any incompletes in the semester is eligible to be named to the dean’s list.
Marian University is the only Catholic liberal arts university in Central Indiana. It is a private, co-educational school offering classes to both traditional and non-traditional students.
University of Illinois
Dean’s lists for the 2011 spring semester have been announced by eight colleges and another academic unit at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Dean's list students include Andrew Bell of Vandalia, a sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering.
