Margaret J. Ellis, 83, Decatur

Margaret Jean Ellis, 83, of Decatur, died on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Dawson & Wikoff Wood Street Funeral Home in Decatur, with the Rev. Ron Howerton officiating. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery in Decatur. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until time of services on Saturday. Memorials: Donor’s choice.

Mrs. Ellis was born on Sept. 20, 1957, in Decatur, the daughter of Clifford M. and Jennie Hayes Jones. She married Lisle E. Ellis on June 4, 1949.

She is survived by her husband; and a son, David V. Ellis and his wife Rhonda E. of Vandalia.
