Roadblock Day Proclamation

Mayor Rick Gottman has signed a proclamation declaring this Saturday as Southern and Central Illinois Laborers' Roadblock Day.

On Saturday, members of Laborers' Local 1197 will be collecting  donations to assist disabled children. Above, Gottman (center) is shown with Joe Hill (left), field representative for Laborers' Local 1197, and Ted Miller, local shop steward.
