Health department closed this week for move to new home

The Fayette Council Health Department is closed for the remainder of this week as it works to complete the move into its new home.
The health department will continue moving its employees currently working out of its home at 509 W. Edwards St. into the former Leo Brown Lumber building at 416 W. Edwards St.
Employees of the health department who were working out of a building in the 100 block of North Fifth Street moved into the new FCHD home a couple of weeks ago.
The health department plans to reopen next Monday at its new home.
