Janice M. Barnes, 78, Ohio

Janice M. Barnes, 78, of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, and formerly of Vandalia, died on Friday morning, Dec. 24, 2010, at the Ohio Eastern Star Home in Mt. Vernon.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High St., Mt. Vernon, with the Rev. F. Richard Snoke officiating. Burial was in Mound View Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. Mrs. Barnes was born on Feb. 23, 1932, in Vandalia, the daughter of Forrest and Lois Siebert Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband John M. Barnes on Feb. 4, 2010.
She is survived by a daughter, Connie and her husband Robert Crock of Hopewell; and sons, Roger Barnes and his wife Patrice of Dublin, Ohio, Jeffrey Barnes and his wife Levylin of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, and Timothy Barnes and his wife Dina of Mt. Vernon, Ohio.
