Elizabeth Perry, 84, South Carolina

Elizabeth Harrison “Bette” Perry of Murrells Inlet, S.C., and formerly of Vandalia, passed away on Friday, Dec. 17, 2010.

Bette was born in Oak Park on May 26, 1926, the daughter of Davis and Lillis Dunihue. A loving wife and mother, she enjoyed 59 years of marriage with her husband, Paul, whom she married on June 16, 1951, in Oak Park.

Bette is lovingly remembered by her husband, Paul, of Murrells Inlet, SC; son, Bill Perry and his wife Margaret of Marietta, Ga.; daughters, Nancy and her husband Paul Sumerall of Marietta, Ga., Susan and her husband David Evans of Richmond, Va., Patricia and her husband Lee Druger of Mt. Prospect, and Diane and her husband Paul Dannewitz of Sandwich; 12 grandchildren;

and her brother, Robert Dunihue of Windsor, Co.

She was preceded in death by her brother, William Dunihue of St. Petersburg, Fla.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Grand Strand Funeral Home and Crematory in Myrtle Beach served the family.
