John W. Lofland, 57, Vandalia

John W. Lofland, 57, of Vandalia, died on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Mo.
No services will be held at this time. Visitation will beheld from noon-4 p.m. on Saturday at Hohlt & File Funeral Home in Vandalia. Memorials: The family.
Mr. Lofland was born on June 19, 1953, in Vandalia, the son of Glen Lofland and Ruth Williams Lofland-Neeley.
He was a driver for Statewide Tire Distributors of Vandalia, and a member of Vandalia Moose Lodge No. 1447, ABATE and the Teamsters’ Union.
He is survived by a son, Josh Lofland and his wife Lora of Vandalia; daughter, Shannon and her husband Nate Peterson of Ramsey; sisters, Donna Mae and her husband Louis Weber of Vandalia, Wilma Richards of Shobonier and Jeannie Lofland of Vermont; and grandchildren, Ryan Black, Brady Black, Shay Peterson, Jakeb Lofland, Morgan Lofland and Madison Lofland.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David Lofland; and sisters, Shirley Potter and Janet Smith.
