Paint the Town Pink

Mayor Rick Gottman, left, signed a proclamation declaring Thursday, Oct. 28, as Paint the Town Pink Day in Vandalia. On that day, the Fayette County Health Department will hold a community reception in Lincoln Park in downtown Vandalia to promote national breast cancer awareness.The reception, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., will include free lunch and give-aways.
