Intro to Internet & e-mail
The Kaskaskia College Office of Community Education will offer an introduction to the Internet and e-mail class at the Vandalia Campus.
This class will be held Saturdays, Sept. 18 and 25, and Oct. 2, from 9-11:30 a.m.
The registration number is LLI 7025 VA01D. 
 This basic class is designed to familiarize students with how to use e-mail, learn about establishing free e-mail accounts and how to use the Internet for learning, shopping and business.
The cost for this course is $44, and students age 60 and over may register at no cost.          
 Class size is limited. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required.

How to Buy and Sell on eBay
The Kaskaskia College Office of Continuing/Community Education will offer a course entitled “How to Buy and Sell on eBay” at the Vandalia Campus.  
 This class will be held on Tuesdays, Sept. 14, 21 and 28, from 6-8:30 p.m. The registration number is LLI 7040 VA01E.
Students will learn to turn items from their attics and basements into cash using online auction sites.
This fun, informative, hands-on computer class teaches students how to put their unwanted items up for sale on eBay.
This course is designed for the beginner online auctioneer.  Students will learn how to post items on eBay. Students must have Internet experience.
Students age 60 and over may register for the class at no cost. The cost for students under 60 is $44.
Students may register through the Vandalia Campus by calling 283-1780 or the Office of Continuing/Community Education at Kaskaskia College at 545-3255.  Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.  All students must pre-register for this class.

Computer College Part II
The Kaskaskia College Community Education Office will hold the computer college Part II at the KC Vandalia Campus.
 There are five sessions of this class offered with all sessions being held from 1-4 p.m. every Thursday, beginning Sept. 30 and ending Oct. 28.
This hands-on computer course gives computer users the opportunity to build on the learning experience from senior's computer college  part I.
Students will learn additional components and parts of a computer.
Computer terms, as well as how to create, print and save documents, and personalize the desktop, will be discussed.
Students will become more familiar with MS Windows applications.
Additional Internet topics will be presented and discussed. The cost for this course is $88; students over the age of 60 may register at no cost.
