Venita Mae Carroll, 81, Vandalia

Venita Mae Carroll, 81, of Vandalia, died at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 9, 2010, at Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care in Vandalia.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia, with the Rev. Ernest Flowers officiating. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Fillmore. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of services on Monday at the funeral home. Memorials: Families That Care at Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care.

Ms. Carroll was born on Nov. 17, 1928, in Fayette County, the daughter of Everett Craig and Elizabeth Evelyn Harris Casey.
