Vandals fall to Pana in regional championship

Vandalia lost to Pana in the regional championship on Friday night, 48-45. Marty Johnson had 22 points for the Vandals.

Leading by four with 3:17 remaining, Vandalia missed key free throws down the stretch and were outscored 7-0 to fall to the Panthers.

Vandalia ends the season 17-13 overall and is the South Central Conference champion with a record of 11-2.
