Maggie L. Davison, 91, of Vandalia, died at 11:53 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010, at Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care in Vandalia.
Services were held at 10 a.m. last Thursday at Hohlt & File Funeral Home in Vandalia, with the Revs. Joe Lawson and Rodney Caswell officiating. Burial was in Taylor Cemetery in Vandalia. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. last Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials: Alzheimer’s Association.
Mrs. Davison was born on June 2, 1918, in Vandalia, the daughter of Marvin Clay and Ethel Mae Babcock Hopkins. She married Lloyd Davison on Jan. 25, 1945, in Vandalia; he died on Sept. 27, 1989.
She worked for P.N. Hirsch and was a member of First Assembly of God.
She is survived by a son-in-law, John Diveley of Vandalia; daughter by love, Susie (Davison) Augenstein and her husband Mark; and grandchildren by love, Jamie (Davison) Keck and her husband Jon, and Amber Yeager.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Leotta “Janie” Mae Diveley; and her siblings.
