Terry C. Binnion, 72, Vernon

Terry C. Binnion, 72, of Vernon, died on Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Centralia.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Patoka, with the Revs. Clayton Coffey and Johnny Troutt officiating. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery in Vernon. Visitation will be held from noon until time of services on Tuesday at the church. Day Funeral Home in Patoka was in charge of arrangement. Mr. Binnion was born on March 12, 1937, in Shobonier, the son of James Cecil and Jessie Blankenship Binnion. He married Sarah J. Smith on May 17, 1963, in Salem.

He is survived by his wife, of Chatham; sons, Larry Binnion and his friend Pam Sessions of Salem, Alan Binnion and his wife Eve of Hinesville, Ga., and Mark Binnion and his wife Kia of Springfield; and grandchildren, Rachelle Binnion of Salem, Linzi Binnion of Salem, Nikki-Jo Stevens of Hinesville, Ga., Anthony Hendricks of Springfield and Leah Binnion of Springfield.
