William F. ‘Bill’ Cyrus Jr., 56, Vandalia

William F. “Bill” Cyrus Jr., 56, of Vandalia died at 12:48 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, at BJC Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Hohlt and File Funeral Home in Vandalia, with the Rev. Shawn Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Ritter Cemetery in Vandalia. Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials: The family.

Mr. Cyrus was born on June 16, 1953, in Pensacola, Fla., the son of William F. Sr. and Mildred Taylor Cyrus..

He is survived by his wife, Sally, of Vandalia; daughters, Laura and her husband Evan Kyle Mundy of Lovington; Shannon and her husband Greg Manngrum of Paragould, Ark.; sons, William F. Cyrus III of Paragould, Ark., and Michael Byron Cyrus of Paragould, Ark.; brother, Doug Cyrus and his wife Beverly of Pana; and six granddaughters.
