Mary H. Harnetiaux, 57, Greenville
Mary Helen Harnetiaux, 57, of Greenville, died at 9:21 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, at Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Greenville.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home in Greenville, with the Rev. Henry Crippen and Brother Tom Rankin officiating. Burial was in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Memorials: The family.
Mrs. Harnetiaux was born on Dec. 22, 1952, in Granite City; she was the daughter of Arthur and Helen Parks. She married Vern Harnetiaux Jr. on July 15, 1992, at Calvary Temple Assemblies of God Church in Greenville.
She worked as an inserter/stuffer for the Greenville Advocate and was a member of Calvery Temple Assemblies of God Church. She grew up in Granite City, attending local schools and working as a nurse’s aide in that community. She lived in Pennsylvania for a while and then moved back to the Greenville area.
She is survived by her husband; biological mother, Doris Robertson of Wentzville; son, Ralph W. Effler of West Salem; several grandchildren, including Ashlee Effler of West Salem; sisters, Shirley Campbell of Greenville, and Wanda Bradley of San Antonio, Texas; half brothers, Jerry Sanders of Granite City, Thomas Sanders of Granite City, Robert Sanders of Wentzville, Mo., and Tony Robertson of O’Fallon; and half sisters, Victoria Grady of Granite City, Kathy Crippen of Granite City and Patricia Sanders of French Village, Mo.
