Virginia Hayden Wolf, 76, Vandalia

Virginia Hayden Wolf, 76, of Vandalia, died at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, at the family residence.

No services were scheduled. Per the family’s wishes, the body of Mrs. Wolf was cremated. Hohlt & File Funeral Home in Vandalia was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Wolf was born on May 25, 1933, in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of Joseph and Alva Colston Hayden.

She was a retired secretary.

She is survived by brothers, Lawrence F. Hayden of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Joseph D. Hayden and his wife Marla of Burford, Ga.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Stuart G. Wolf.
