Janet M. Trout, 44, Vandalia

Janet M. Trout, 44, of Vandalia, died at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Bethlehem Cemetery in Mulberry Grove. The body was cremated at the family’s request. Hohlt & File Funeral Home in Vandalia was in charge of arrangements. Memorials: The family.

Miss Trout was born on May 21, 1965, in Highland, the daughter of Benjamin Jr. and Margaret Schlenker Trout.

She is survived by her mother, of Vandalia; brother, Robert Trout and his wife Andrea of Vandalia; niece, Jennifer Spinner of Vandalia; and grandfather, Benjamin Trout Sr.

She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Trout Jr.
