Robert G. Hemmer, 74, Carrollton

Robert G. Hemmer, 74, of Carrollton, died on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, at Boyd Medical Center in Carrollton.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Sunday at Farmers Cemetery in Shobonier.

Mr. Hemmer was born on Aug. 18, 1935. He married Antonia Merkle on July 9, 1976; she preceded him in death.

He is survived by children, Joe Hemmer and his wife Sloan of West Palm Beach, Fla., John Hemmer and his wife Kathy of Shobonier, and Candy and her husband William Rowcliff of Asherville, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
