Terry L. Beever, 53, Brownstown

Terry L. Beever, 53, of Brownstown, died at 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at his residence.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church in Vandalia, with Pastor Kurt Simon officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday and one hour before services on Wednesday, both at the church. Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia was in charge of arrangements. Memorials: The family.

Mr. Beever was born on Dec. 10, 1955, in Pekin, the son of Ronald R. and Ronda R. Phillips Davis. He married Alice B. Marvel on July 19, 1985, at the Lake of the Ozarks, Mo.

He was a millwright, a member of Millwright Local 1051 of Lincoln and was affiliated with the Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Theresa A. Beever and Renea D. Beever, both of Brownstown; mother, Ronda and her husband Bob of Pekin; father, Ronald Beever and his wife Marilyn of Pekin; grandmother, Nelda Martin of Pekin; brothers, Theadore Beever and Ronald R. Beever, both of Pekin; and sisters, Toni Hilst and Ronda Kay Knackmuhs-Powell, both of Pekin.

He was preceded in death by grandparents.
