Public meeting on Gallatin Street project is Tuesday

The city of Vandalia will hold a public meeting next Tuesday on the Gallatin Street project.

Mayor Rick Gottman said the purpose of the meeting, which will be held at 5 p.m. at Vandalia City Hall, is to provide information to the public about the project, and to answer any questions from concerned citizens and business owners.

City officials and representatives of the city’s consulting engineering firm, HMG Engineers of Carlyle, will be present. Representatives of Hank’s Excavating and Landscaping, the general contractor on the project, will also be present.
