M. Lisa Ballard, 57, Brownstown
M. Lisa Ballard, 57, of Brownstown, died on Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at her residence.
In honor of her wishes, she will be cremated and a private burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Carlyle. Zieren Day Funeral Home in Carlyle was in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Ballard was born on Sept. 11, 1951, in Breese, the daughter of Robert and Gertrude Niehoff Robben. She married Gene Heinzmann; they later divorced.
She had worked at Teco Trucking in Vandalia, Fin and Feather in Keyesport and lastly at the Keyesport American Legion.
She is survived by siblings, Robert “Bud” Robben and his wife Penny of Fairfield, Calif., Patricia and her husband John Hager of Kansas City, Mo., Gary Robben and his wife Shirley of Flower Mound, Texas, and Jean and her husband Eugene Van Dorn of Carlyle; 12 nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; a great-great-nephew; and special friend, Jeff “Booger” Ward.
