Bill Rench, 63, of Rialto, Calif., and formerly of Vandalia, died on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2008.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. this Thursday at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary in Colton, Calif. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary. Memorials: Silver Dollar Club, 1829 E. Mesa Verde Drive, San Bernadino, Calif., 92404.
Mr. Rench was born on Aug. 11, 1945, in Vandalia.
He lived in Rialto, Calif., for more than 35 years. He was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the Army’s First Calvary Unit. He enjoyed helping others through his affiliation with the Silver Dollar Club, a private, non-profit organization. His passions included his family, golf, barbecuing and being among good friends.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Fannin of Vandalia; wife of 34 years, Donna; sons, Shawn Rench and his wife Liz, and Shannon Rench and his companion Rebecca; brother, Ted Rench and his companion Linda; mother-in-law, Marie Roberts; brother-in-law, Dan Roberts and his wife Jamie; grandchildren, Matt, Kody, Savanna, Kadie and Ryder; and many nephews, nieces and friends.
