Harley Edwin Courson, 71, of Kinmundy, died on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, in a farm accident on his farm.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Brown Christian Church in rural Kinmundy, with Brothers Nathan Schnautz and Rusty Courson officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Elder Cemetery, rural Kinmundy. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday at Neal Funeral Home in Kinmundy. Memorials: Brown Christian Church, Farina EMTs or donors choice.
Mr. Courson was born on May 23, 1936, in Meacham Township, the son of Arthur and Minnie Mae Outhouse Courson. He married Mary Jane Brewer on Dec. 1, 1962.
He was a farmer.
He is survived by his wife; sons, David Courson and his wife Karey of Kinmundy, Brad Courson and his wife Sherry of Vandalia, and Kevin Courson of Farina; daughter, Cathy and her husband Darrell Webb of Farina; brothers, Richard Courson and his wife Doris of St. Peter, and Roger Courson of Edgewood; sister, Phyllis and her husband Delmar Maske of Farina; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
