Lillie Fern Lewis, 73, of Brownstown, died at 5:40 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, at Evergreen Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Effingham.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at Claggett Funeral Home in Brownstown. Burial will be in Old Loogootee Cemetery, Loogootee. Visitation will be held two hours prior to services. Memorials: Donors choice.
Mrs. Lewis was born on Dec. 15, 1933, in rural Fayette County, the daughter of Tim and Gladys Claytor Mason. She married Stanley Dean Krajefska. She later married James D. Lewis; he preceded her in death.
She was retired from food service and home health care, and was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in St. Elmo.
She is survived by sons, Stanley Krajefska Jr., and Steve and his wife Randy Krajefska, both of Loogootee; daughters, Debbi and her husband Tim Smith of St. Peter, and nancy Seefeldt of Bloomington; brothers, Harold and Darlene Mason of Loogootee, and Glen and Nancy Mason of Altamont; sisters, Evelyn and her husband Les Wilson of West Plains, Mo., Bobbie Gorby of Texas, Sheila and her husband Gary Malone of Vandalia, Barbara Becker and special friend Tom Grames of Loogootee; grandchildren, Jessica, Corey, Tony, Cody, Luke and Megan; and great-grandchildren, Jacqui, Isabella, Isaiah and Caitlin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and two sisters.
