The South Central Jr. Legion baseball team split a doubleheader against Effingham on Saturday.
Heath Hoffman strokes a single for the South Central Jr. Legion team during the second game of a doubleheader against Effingham on Saturday. After winning the first game, a comeback bid by Post 519 fell short in game two, which Effingham won, 14-11. Three South Central players, including Hoffman, homered in the game.
