Vandalia Community High School senior Katie Eckhardt was awarded the Ish Smith Scholarship at the Fellowship of Christian Athletes banquet. Eckhardt met with former St. Louis Cardinal Scott Spiezio, the banquet speaker; and Eric McKinney.
