Brownstown Man Trial Date Set

A Brownstown man, currently in Fayette County Jail, had his trial date set for later this month following an incident that involved an officer-involved shooting.
Tyler J. Roe, 36 of Brownstown, is facing multiple felony charges stemming from the incident which occurred on December 30, 2023. Roe faces charges of Home Invasion and Aggravated Arson which are both Class X Felonies. He also faces charges of residential burglary (Class 1 Felony) and theft (Class 3 Felony).
Roe was arrested on December 30 after he was alleged to have been involved in a home invasion, burglary and a stolen vehicle. The incident culminated in a Farina Police Officer discharging his weapon and striking Roe.
Roe is currently facing a trial on May 20 in Fayette County Court with a pretrial hearing on May 7
