Michael L. Hulskotter, 75, Indianapolis

Michael L. Hulskotter, 75, of Indianapolis passed away on August 7, 2023.

Mike was born to Everett “Pete” and Lucille (Janetzky) Hulskotter on February 29, 1948, in Vandalia, Illinois. He attended Vandalia Schools graduating in 1966. He worked for Bryant Mgt. Co., was a member of the Army Reserves and became a Deputy Sheriff for Marion County, IN, in 1969. He also worked for Kesler Schefer Auto Auction for 53 years.

Mike is survived by two children, Mark (Aimee) and Michelle; their mother, Marilyn; a brother Jim (Loann) Hulskotter; nephews Dannon (Amy) Hulskotter, Lewis “Chip” and Leslie “Les” Locke and a niece Lynette (David) White; and also great nephews and nieces.

Mike was predeceased by his parents, Pete and Lucille; his sister, Lorene Locke (Hulskotter); brother-in-law, Lewis “Cy” Locke; and niece Linda Locke.

Funeral services were held on Aug. 11, 2023, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory in Greenwood, IN. Burial service was held Aug. 12 at Fairlawn Cemetery in Vandalia. Donations may be made to donor’s choice.
