Barbara Ann Bolyard, 74, of Vandalia, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at her home.

Barbara Ann Bolyard was born September 18, 1948 in Vandalia, the daughter of Carl E. and Velma L. (Probst) McGee. Barb was a hard-working woman, she would often leave one job and go straight to her next; over the years she worked at Dollar General, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Harmons IGA, and Fayette County Hospital.

She is survived by her son, Gerald Bolyard and fiancé Margaret of Vandalia; daughter, Shelley Scott of Albemarle, North Carolina; sisters, Brenda Burtschi of Vandalia and Dita and husband Rick Eyman of Vernon; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Bridget Bolyard; brother, Bill McGee, and grandson, Devin Bolyard.
