Patricia Ann Staff, 87, Springfield

Patricia Ann Staff, 87, of Springfield, IL, died at 5:31 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at Concordia Village in Springfield. She grew up in Greenville, the daughter of Gen and Tom Goodall and sister of Bill Goodall. She graduated from Greenville College where she met her husband-to-be, Floyd G. Staff, originally of Vandalia. They lived with their family in Vandalia early on, and were married for 52 years until his death in 2003. 

She is survived by her children, Coni Staff of Cloverdale, CA, and Randy (wife, Elaine) Staff of Dublin, OH; grandchildren, Michael (wife, Renata and children, Logan and Levi) Staff of Columbus, OH, Kyle Staff of Phoenix, AZ, and Samuel Staff of Dublin, OH; cousins, Shirla (husband, Kenny) Zobrist of Pocahontas and Gary (wife, Pam) Hawkins of Alma; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim and Joyce Staff of Vandalia; sisters-in-law, Billye Staff of Carbondale and Melody (husband, Phil) Freeman of Vandalia; and many nieces and nephews.

Given now it is safer for all to gather, “A Celebration of Life and Love for Pat Staff” will be held at 11:00 a.m. on July 23, 2022, at Laurel United Methodist Church, 631 S. Grand Avenue West, Springfield, IL.
