Mary Ann Elam, 77

Mary Ann Frakes Elam, daughter of John W. and Virginia M. McBride Frakes, has graduated into glory on March 5, 2022, at the age of 77.
Per Mary Ann’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and a private family service will be held at a later date. Mary Ann was born on Feb. 24, 1945, in Centralia.
She was of the Christian faith, a member of the “Family of God.” She loved studying the Bible and ministering to anyone and everyone that she could.
Mary Ann was a former in-home health caregiver and enjoyed flowers, gardening and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Among the many she hoped to see there at God’s appointed time are her precious daughter, Mary Suzanne Gathe of Seymore, Tenn.; her precious son, Donald Elam and wife Sarah; sister, Marilyn Shuff of Shelbyville; her grandchildren, whom she adored, Broc Young, Breanna and husband Levi Sasse, Oakley Elam, Jade Elam and Kolton Elam; and great-grandchildren, Tagan Young, Abel Young, Rylee Sasse, Kinlee Sasse, Natalee Sasse, and Tymberlee Sasse.
She was greeted in heaven by her parents and a sister, Sandra McNary, who preceded her in death.
