Dale A. Harrison, 74, Fillmore

Dale Alvin Harrison, 74, of Fillmore, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital, Springfield.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home in Fillmore, with the Rev. Kathy Lewis officiating. Burial was in Glendale Cemetery, Fillmore. Mr. Harrison was born on Feb. 18, 1948, in Fayette County, the son of Bert Alvin and Helen Pauline (Jackson) Harrison. He married Mary Ellen Jerden on June 29, 1968, in Fillmore.
He was a lifelong farmer and the Fillmore Township Road Commissioner for 30 years. He was a member of the Fillmore Sportsman’s Club, Fillmore.
He is survived by his wife; son, Brent Harrison, Fillmore; daughters, Lisa Harrison, Fillmore, and Lori Hoffman and Jeff, Bingham; brother, David Harrison and Chris, Vandalia; sister, Kay Chase, Vandalia; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; one sister; and one grandson, Ryan Dugan.
