Evadine J. Smith, 83, of Fillmore, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021, at Hillsboro.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, at Miller Funeral Home, Fillmore, with Pastor Harry Kirk officiating. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Fillmore. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 20, at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Montgomery County PAWS CARE, Hillsboro. Evadine was born on August 30, 1938, in Bingham, the daughter of Theodore  Clinton and Bessie (Merriman) Davidson. She married Kenneth Eugene “Gene” Smith on June 11, 1960, at Fillmore. She was a homemaker and served on Fillmore Township Election Board. She was affiliated with the Christian faith.

Survived by her husband, Eugene “Gene” Smith, Fillmore; son, Brent Smith and Krista, Fillmore; daughters, Jeanna Lorton and Jay, Fillmore, and Joy Heldebrant, Witt; sister, Norma Black, Vandalia; grandchildren, Jamie, Dustin, Kelsey, Mandy, Jade and Jasmine; six great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Don Davidson.
