Jerry Duane Lee, 66, of Altamont

Jerry Duane Lee, 66, of Altamont, passed away at 7:34 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021 at St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Funeral service were at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 13, 2021 at Pagel Funeral Home in St. Peter, with a one hour viewing prior to service. Rev. Ryan Meyer officiated. Burial was at the St. Peter Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday, December 12, 2021 at the Pagel Funeral Home in St. Peter. Jerry was born was on May 20, 1955 at Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia, the son of Charles and Arlene (Magnus) Lee. He married Twila J. Johnson on June 18, 2011 in Altamont. Jerry was a mechanic, and he was on the St. Peter Fire Department for 25 years and was an EMT. he enjoyed fishing and loved model car shows and riding motorcycles.

He is survived by four sons, Chet Lee (wife Ronnetra) of Redondo Beach, California, Joey Lee (fiancé Hannah Mitchell) of Farina, Jared Lee of Monticello, and Dorsey Johnson of Altamont; four daughters, Nicholle Lee of Kinmundy, Monica Fotay (husband John) of Watson, Crystal Johnson of Comanche, TX, and Tiffany Johnson of Altamont; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Arlene Lee and one brother, Dennis Lee.
