? The United Methodist Men will hold their annual pancake and sausage supper from 4-7 p.m. in Wesley Hall at First United Methodist Church, 127 N. Fourth St., Vandalia. The proceeds will be used to support the United Methodist Men's projects.
? TOPS IL 1872, Ramsey, will meet at the Christian Church in Ramsey. Weigh-in is at 6:20 p.m., and the meeting is at 7 p.m.
Friday, March 9

? The Fayette County Knights of Columbus will hold an all-you-can-eat fish fry from 5-7:30 p.m. at the Mother of Dolors Parish Center, Seventh and St. Clair streets, Vandalia. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-11. Carry-outs are available.
? An all-you-can-eat chicken dinner will be held at the Vandalia Moose Lodge. The cost is $7. The dinner is open to the public.
 Saturday, March 10

? A country music dance and potluck is held from 7-10 p.m. every Saturday at 202 W. Madison St. in Ramsey (the former Baptist Church). Admission is $5.

Sunday, March 11
? The annual St. Patrick's corned beef and cabbage dinner will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Mother of Dolors Parish Center, 705 W. St. Clair St., Vandalia. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children, with children under 5 served free. The menu will include corned beef and cabbage, ham, hot dogs, side dishes, desserts and drinks. There will also be a country store and raffle. Carry-outs will be available by calling 283-8738. All proceeds will benefit Right to Life.
? A benefit for Robbie Brooks, a 17-year-old PBR bull rider who was injured while riding, will be held from 2-10 p.m. at the Vandalia Moose Lodge. The benefit will include food, live music by "Straight Lace," a Dutch auction, 50/50 drawing, games, Easter basket and cake walk. To make donations, 335-7118 or 335-9428.
Monday, March 12

? An American Red Cross blood drive will be held from 6:30-11:30 a.m. at Graham Packaging on Imco Drive in Vandalia.
? The senior class at Brownstown High School will be working at Ponderosa Steakhouse from 4:30-7:30 p.m.. Class members will be working for tips to raise money for their senior trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., in May.
? A Fayette County Relay for Life meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at First Church of God on Thrill Hill Road northwest of Vandalia.
Tuesday, March 13

? The Fayette County Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the large courtroom at the Fayette County Courthouse.
? The Evans Public Library Board of Trustees will meet at 7 p.m. at the library.
Wednesday, March 14
