Trinity Waelterman, 17, Greenville, formerly Granite City

Trinity Waelterman, 17, Greenville Ill., formerly of Granite City, passed away at home Friday, April 24, surrounded by her family after a brave battle with cancer.

Trinity was diagnosed with a rare cancer, Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma, a soft tissue cancer that affects the entire body.  Trinity was undergoing a 46-week chemotherapy regimen.

The family is asking for funeral support financially for Trinity.  Money is asked to be donated directly to her funeral burial account at the Donnell – Wiegand Funeral Home. She is the daughter of Terry Lee Waelterman and Ashley Elizabeth Moore.  Trinity was born in Greenville on Oct. 15, 2008.  The family moved to Granite City, Ill. where she attended school and was about ready for her senior year in high school.  In June of 2025 the family moved back to Greenville.
