Lions Club to hold 83rd Annual Halloween Parade

      On October 23rd the Vandalia Lions Club will hold its 83rd Annual Halloween Parade. The theme this year is “Back to the 50’s.”

      David Harris will serve as the Grand Marshall for the parade that starts at 7pm at the Fayette County Court House.

Parade registration starts at 5pm at the former Washington School.  Participants are encouraged to hand out candy or take candy to the curb, but are asked not to throw candy.

      Vandalia Lions Club Halloween parade awards will be held on Monday, October 27th at 5pm and will be at the Vandalia Senior Citizens Building, 616 W Jackson St.
